Exactly what I was looking for

I have a 7 year old PowerSpec G218 desktop computer that started with a blue screen and displayed other errors which I believe were caused by problems with the RAM cards . These new cards arrived in perfect condition and after replacing all the old ones with the new ones I didn't see a blue screen and the memory check showed no problems. It's nice to be able to turn the computer back on every 10-30 minutes without a blue screen.

Works great - no problem - easy to install

I upgraded my HP (Compaq) Pavilion p6680t desktop memory from 6GB to 16GB. Simply remove the three old 2GB modules, plug the four new 4GB modules into the slots, boot up the PC and the new memory was recognized immediately. Very happy with the product.

Works for me! from memory

Installed in a Dell Optiplex 980 and recognized immediately. No problem. Good bang for the buck. My video surveillance system, which was originally only 4GB, saw CPU and memory usage drop significantly. The system is faster and more responsive. For you who are not technical specialists; Check your motherboard's specs to see what type of memory it supports. In my case it was 4 GB per slot, so 4 slots in total. Also, you must have a 64-bit OS and a 64-bit processor or 16GB access will not work…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Works as expected - check correct type, capacity and speed.

Installed about 3 months ago in an old ASUS laptop to increase the RAM for Windows 10. Everything went well, no problems. I had to use a YouTube video to confirm the installation as these modules require a specific insertion angle and some force to snap into the slot and I wanted to be sure I was doing it right to insert the module, SIMM slot, not to damage , or both. After installing the BIOS, POST recognized it without any problems and the performance of the laptop improved significantly…

Works great no problems

They came in nice packaging and work great on my laptop, they not only increase the size but also improve performance which is very good for me. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the 2x2GB sticks I took out. I understand the price reflects affordability, but it's a lot more than newer storage. I think that's what I get when I use 9 years of memory. old laptop.

Can you judge a book by its cover?

Can you judge a book (or memory in this case) by its cover? (See Appendix A). The outer protective layer (A) is an ultra-thin plastic found in dollar store toys. I have never seen such inferior storage packaging. That alone should have told me something about the "quality" of the product. Anyway, I ignored this and tried to update my dv7 with a disk. I could not boot after installing this memory. tried again There isn't even a boot menu. Well, after a few seconds, something started burning…

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
