Installed in a Dell Optiplex 980 and recognized immediately. No problem. Good bang for the buck. My video surveillance system, which was originally only 4GB, saw CPU and memory usage drop significantly. The system is faster and more responsive. For you who are not technical specialists; Check your motherboard's specs to see what type of memory it supports. In my case it was 4 GB per slot, so 4 slots in total. Also, you must have a 64-bit OS and a 64-bit processor or 16GB access will not work, the maximum you can get from the 32-bit version is 4GB. It is better not to mix different memory modules, but to use all suitable memory modules.
