The headphones are a variant of the very popular ATH-M50, with the difference that the M50X has a detachable cable. I did not notice any difference in sound compared to the previous model, and there are no significant differences in wearing comfort either. Therefore, if you are interested in very detailed reviews about the sound and other things, you can read the discussion of the M50. Three cables are included with the headphones. The headphone jack is durable, the cable is securely fixed by turning. The cables themselves are thick and durable. The headphones are closed, but the sound isolation is not perfect. In a noisy subway car, I would not recommend using them. Overall, great headphones. If you want a cool sound for reasonable money - take it, do not hesitate.
