Could have been better, but it worked. The screw holes are too small and have to be reamed to fit the included screws and panel mounting screws, and the flanges, which on a traditional switch would be thin metal and bolted to the junction box, are thicker plastic, making access more difficult. it must be flush mounted and protrude the correct distance from the actual switch. I ended up just screwing it to the switch plate and didn't even try to screw it to the junction box first. In the end everything looks fine and I got what I wanted although it protrudes a bit from the switch plate and the plate is only attached to the wall with two screws instead of four.
