Terribly beautiful to suck snot from your baby's nose. I have found that the best way to use it is to first use saline to loosen things up, then exhale fully until you have the mouthpiece between your teeth and nose, then suck hard! I also use a light circular motion in the nostril to try to get everything out and avoid catching it on the inside of the baby's nose. Exercise can also help keep mucus that you've already sucked into the tube from getting back up your nose. I felt like I was just breathing in sick germs, but I still breastfed and hugged and kissed the baby, so those germs were probably already multiplying inside me. There is another product with the same idea that uses fabric as a filter.
