Electrostatic Shot Sound

Ever since the quarantine lifestyle became the new normal, I've just spent so much time in my home office. My Martin-Logan setup was underused for the obvious reason. Well, I don't sit in my home theater all day! I've looked at so many YouTube reviews from so many reviewers who have never heard of electrostatics or have no idea. what were they talking about. There are 2 types of people this portable speaker is marketed to: 1) Static junkies move from large speakers to PC sized portable speakers 2) ESD junkies move from very small (maybe they hoard) to monstrous panels . It is really that easy. Just ignore all the YouTube and other Revain reviews, IMO. If you're an electrostatics junkie who loves detailed sound and is looking for a PC-sized speaker to carry around in your pocket, then this is the one for you. No need to mess around with tube amps or other amps. Sit in your office and put this speaker to your ears, use the micro USB/onboard DAC, turn on Tidal, tweak your settings, stop moving and stop complaining about the lack of bass because it's electrostatic. Or take this speaker to another room and have electrostatic sound wherever you go without wearing headphones. If heavily colored sound doesn't give you a headache, buy a JBL clip or similar fast-food-style Bluetooth speaker. At the moment I have chosen size S simply because it is the smallest solution. I'm a bit concerned or hesitant to upgrade to 2s due to cost and size. The only downside I can think of is the lack of bass power from the subwoofer on the Model S. That's why I'm considering upgrading to the 2. Finally, I'm not a fan of the Trevolo 2 wooden stands, which sell for $50 each. The most important thing is the height and orientation of the speaker. The radiated sound waves do not matter whether the stand is made of red oak or a metal paint can.
