So yes, it works. This will prevent your truck from going from v8 to v4. However. This thing will only eat up your battery if you leave your truck for a few days, which is just ridiculous. My battery is not that old and I never had a problem until I bought this. If I don't take it off every time I turn off the car, I'll end up with a dead battery. It warns you in the instructions if you park it for a while to remove it, but no matter what, it's literally just eating up my battery. I should have just bought a tuner and removed all that nonsense from the start. I REALLY want my money back but it's probably too late. This is a scam.
