I'm not a very good writer and I don't usually write reviews here, but I took the chance and decided to share my experience. I have an old HP ProBook with Windows 10 and an 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter connected to a Linksys AC1900 dual band router. My ISP rates my services at up to 200Mbps and I regularly get 210-220Mbps on my wired desktop. On a laptop, the average download speed is around 50 Mbit/s. I looked at many USB Wi-Fi adapters and finally settled on this one because it comes with 1200Mbps AC compatibility, compact size, dual band, and USB 3.0. I downloaded the program from the link below the product description. Setup was quick and I was connected in less than 5 minutes. I first tried it in a USB 2.0 slot connected to the 5GHz band and the download speed didn't improve, but when I put it in a USB 3.0 slot it turned around increased over 300% and is now averaging around 170Mbps. Everything was stable for the first 24 hours, no issues. If anything changes, I'll post an update. A good product. Excellent customer service! If anything changes, i will post an update.
