So I always thought all HDMI cables were the same. I was wrong. Although these cables are labeled high speed, they didn't work in my setup. I have a Vizio M65-E0 TV, an Onkyo TX-NR575 receiver, an Apple TV 4k and an Xbox One S. When these cables are connected, my Xbox One S does not recognize my TV as 4k HDR and the Apple TV 4k does not allow it Dolby Vision. The receiver can transmit HDR and Dolby Vision and my TV supports both. I also had trouble viewing anything other than 1080p on my Xbox like DVDs etc. I got really frustrated and spent hours changing settings and resetting all my hardware. In the end I decided to try different cables. I have purchased Monoprice certified cables which are also available from Revain. Voila, everything was perfect. If you're looking to run 4k HDR or Dolby Vision from your home theater through the receiver, I'd recommend staying away from those cables and getting certified by Monoprice. They're only a few dollars more expensive and much better quality.
