I am a service technician and I assemble measuring devices. I don't know where they come from. lol. Anyway, this one looks more like a cell phone than a regular counter. When you turn it on, you get a huge color screen, automatic for most functions. Automatically switch from ohms to voltage. This seems to be accurate for most functions I've tested. The only problem is that these are AAA batteries and if it had USB rechargeable batteries that would be perfect. Maybe make an upgraded device with USB charging, even if it's a bit more expensive. Being able to charge it anywhere when it dies would be worth it. I don't know how long a set of batteries will last but with a large color screen I don't think the battery will last long but we'll see how it goes. I take a set of AAA in my tools just in case!
