Hidden complications

The product itself is in perfect condition. High quality bowl/lid at the lowest price. The problem is in the old key fob. Disassembling can be tricky and you have to be careful not to damage the internal components. Vehicles in general, and even different years/model ranges, can be assembled differently, making it impossible to provide buyers with instructions covering all the options for transferring the inside of an old key fob to a new key fob. In my old key fob, the ignition transponder was glued into a recess in the corner of the key fob and was too easy to overlook. Most videos on You Tube did not address the transponder. So I moved all the other components from the old fob to the new one, then tested the buttons and they all worked. But when I tried to start the car it wouldn't start. I finally found out that part of the ignition system sends a message to the transponder in the fob when you try to start your car and if the transponder is missing or broken your car will not start. In my situation the transponder in one of my old trailers was loose so I found it in the bottom of the bin and put it in the new trailer and the car started. Unfortunately the other transponder was stuck in place and when I removed it I probably damaged it and it won't start the car. Now I only have one working key. The dealer can program a new transponder, but does not just sell me the transponder. All you can do is sell me a brand new keychain for $500. I'm currently at a car mechanic and I'm also looking for a used key fob from the junkyard.
