I give off a LOT of heat and a lot of foam pads absorb that heat and give it back to me. Incredibly annoying. Luckily it hasn't happened to me yet. It's not necessarily COOL, but it's definitely not awkward. It's nice and soft and I like its U-shape because I roll over a lot in my sleep and trying to get comfortable. nice to have it on either side of me, it helps me not to sleep on my back. The U-curve of the pillow has a very tight seam. Carrying him to bed was like carrying a wire with weights on the ends on your shoulder. Of course I don't sleep like that, but the bottom line is that the seam is very tight. This high tension seam doesn't like how flexible I am in my sleep, or even the way I wake up, as I often heard it cracking and tearing in the pillowcase. (By the way, the pillowcase is fine, its stitching is very good.) Either the stitching had to be sewn up with an elastic band so people could put their shoulder in it, or. it just looks more like a stitch in a pillowcase. Now I can never take his pillowcase off again without the foam spilling all over the place. Because of this, I'm sure it will get a little dirty over time. I will clean surfaces until I need to replace it, but I doubt I'll buy it again.
