remote control works great. It runs all the way down one side of the steering wheel and doesn't interfere with other controls, at least on my Harley. Management is easy, what you need and nothing more. Battery life lasted from August when I installed it to February when I tested it for the 2021 ski season. It uses CR2016 batteries which cost around $4.25 for a pack of 5. Unfortunately, the hinge has plastic parts that broke today, seven months after installation, for reasons unknown to me. I recently replaced the battery but didn't notice how it broke when I put it back on the handlebars. It broke when I drove out of the garage today. By "it's broken" I mean it can no longer be attached to the handlebars as intended. I could think of a way to still use it. The broken part is firmly attached to the main body of the remote control, so it cannot be easily replaced. Recommendation for the Sena: Don't use brittle plastic for major structural parts like the hinge, or make it replaceable if necessary, IF, not IF it breaks. Now I'm not sure if I should expect to pay $100 for a new remote every season or if I shouldn't.
