There are many L-shaped coffee tables for sale. This is a very convenient design for storing drinks, food or remote controls. I chose this product because 1) it comes pre-assembled and 2) it is one of the tallest tables on the market. But some people may not like the raw wood panel and rough surface of the medal. It is not powder coated like others. But I love the rustic finish of metal, and it's easy enough to apply a coat of varnish to a wood surface without taking it apart. As I mentioned it is welded in one piece, very strong so it doesn't need to be assembled. I am very happy with my purchase.
