These monitors work as described. Make sure your laptop has enough ports. I use 1 USB-C port on the left side of my laptop to power the laptop; another USB-C for power and video transmission to the left screen; 1 additional USB-A port - possibly for a mouse. On the right side of my laptop, I use a USB-A port to power the screen and an HDMI port to stream to the right screen. Works great if you have enough ports for a laptop. Otherwise, you may need a hub or find another solution to power your screens and stream video. They unfold and you can use 1 or both screens. I also like how the laptop clip is adjustable, sort of spring loaded, like a phone holder in a car. In general very satisfied!
