I had to cut a hole in my linen closet to run a cold water line to my dryer (with steam function). I didn't want to run the house over the central sink/closet and wanted to do a professional looking job and get under it. I was looking for a clean looking bushing and this one fit the bill. Make sure you have a 2 1/2 inch hole saw and when creating the hole try to cut through the cabinet with one shot. One of the cuts got stuck in the drill, so I had to pull it out and try again. ...this probably made the hole a little bigger than it needed to be and I cut the bushing sleeve a little shorter (last line) and it didn't snap. and jumped out. So I just used some super glue to hold it in place, problem solved. The second time I installed the hub on the other side, installed it well and learned from my previous mistakes. If you work ahead, that's it. I was about to get a black rubber house and connect it in the middle and use it as a jack, but that's a lot more professional.
