Installed on my 2003 Rubicon Tcase 241OR RockTrack. You will need a 1 1/2" socket on a 3/4" ratchet to remove the old and install the new after disconnecting the harness connector at the top of the switch sensor. Without a body lift (I have one) it's harder. This happened after I installed the clutch, so I thought the wiring harnesses were pinched, checked them all and concluded that the switch was somehow gathering dust when removing and installing it. My symptoms were the 4WD light was off. come on and that's why the lockers weren't included in the LOW range. After installing the new switch the 4WD indicator still didn't work, I disconnected the battery to no avail and then tried the following, quote from another site: -1. Disconnect the POSITIVE battery post and ground it for 30 seconds. (This will discharge the adaptive memory capacitors in the PCM. 2. Reconnect the battery cable. 3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position, but DO NOT start the engine. 4. Turn on the headlights. 5 6. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position, the PCM's adaptive memory is now being flashed or erased from the PCM (key in the ignition), and then the light went out after turning off and on the Key back on again.YMMV.
