Great solution for those who broke their car window and gained access to the garage or home through a garage door opener. Easy to install and relatively low price. As soon as you press the lock button, it turns off the power to the garage door. It is a cheap security enhancement add-on. It's like driving long screws into all the door hinges. Not 100% safe from them, but for 10 minutes of your time and a few bucks they can buy you a few seconds that could save your life. Cons: If someone locks the remote before bed and you get home before they unlock it, you'd better have another entrance next to the garage door lol π because the garage door won't open until you unlock the keypad. I recently bought it at an event. Someone broke into my truck and entered the garage using the remote control. Thank God they didn't come into the house. Saved me from clearing the house with AR and releasing my two German shepherds. But to be honest I would never want to be in that situation, but now we are even more willing to do whatever it takes to ensure this doesn't happen again.
