so far so good. It's a little tricky to be exact as with Omnigrid rulers there is a "hole" where the lines intersect so you can see that the corner of your fabric is exactly where it should be. But that's not really a problem, just start with the fabric hanging outside the lines and then move the ruler until the line completely covers the fabric. It takes some getting used to - it's a 6 1/2 inch wide ruler; I was expecting 1/4 inch more on each side, but that's only on one side so you need to be sure what you have on your fabric so you're sure to cut off the right amount. Otherwise it's solid, not too slippery, does the job, and for the price (compared to the 6x24 omnigrid) I actually got a 9x9 square for a few bucks more. Works for me!
