This is a good replacement for the one that came with your TV.
The remote looks just like the original remote that came with our Sony TV and everything works right out of the box. By that I mean I didn't have to enter a special code to get the remote to work with our TV. I've noticed that the battery cover feels a bit lost and falls off at times, so I only gave it 3 stars. Generally a good replacement if the one that came with the TV breaks.
