Review on Nappaglo Handlebar Ergonomic Bilaterally Non Slip by Brett Bush

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Probably perfect for road/hybrid bikes but not mountain bikes

These grips definitely relieve pressure by increasing palm area and changing wrist position. The build quality seems pretty good and I'm sure they will be great on a hybrid that you drive on paved/smooth surfaces. However, there is a trade-off when using them on a mountain bike and riding over rough terrain: you'll feel every impact being transferred directly to your arms since your palm is now the primary point of contact. . I can't say whether that will be tolerable in the long run; that's my first reaction after a fair ride on a rocky trail. The increase in comfort on relatively smooth sections of trail can be worth the pain of chattering bones on more unforgiving terrain. Maybe I'll put them on my hybrid for long-distance comfort and go back to round grips on my 29er. Also, I suspect that if you have wide hands, you will have problems with the grip ends.
