Review on Rebel Green Dish Lavender Grapefruit by Quvarious Evans

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Very ethical but poor product

Can't say as I've thought a lot about dishwashing liquid other than trying to find more sustainable products. friendly etc. I usually go to Seventh Generation or Mrs Meyers but I saw Rebel Green in the shop and thought it looked good. If you read the label, you'll see keywords like "plant-based formula," "biodegradable," "vegan," and "female-obsessed." Very good, no complaints on that front. Aside from all those nice buzzwords, the soap itself is very ineffective. When washing dishes, I had to squeeze out more liquid compared to any other brand just to get a healthy amount of warm, soapy water. The bubbles also dissipate fairly quickly, meaning you'll have to add little by little. The formula for making soap also seems to contradict itself. At one point I thought I'd finally finished the bottle because nothing came out, but that was only because the last few ounces of soap had solidified at the bottom into a thick goo. I can always pour it down the sink and spray it with a spray bottle to make it foamy, but okay. Dishwashing detergent shouldn't require a workaround. I guess, like in life, the answer wasn't on the bottom of the bottle. Hi! If you have used this product or any other brand offering and have no complaints, great. From my experience only, this soap was a failure.
