Placed by the door on the patio leading to the outdoor cooking area off our kitchen. This rug pattern actually helps create a cohesive transition between two rooms with its lining pattern (Ha! And does it in my kitchen colors!) Note: This pattern is a great way to tie two areas together. So if you want to achieve this effect, choose a line drawing (long lines to guide the eye naturally!). Included is a photo of the dirty footprint traced from the outside, as well as a photo of the carpet after cleaning! As you can see, it washes well. (Machine wash in cold, gentle water. And air dry.) For double sided use - I've included a photo of the opposite side to show an alternative style. The bottom is slightly different in design and uses a different amount of gold paint - as it exposes the reverse threads! ** There are no labels on either side and both options are 100% custom made quality finishes making this rug reversible. The fringes are actually part of the rug itself! No retroactive or add-ons. The fringes are simply woven carpet threads that are left "unbuttoned". 3" and finished with a slipknot. (See close-up photo.) Ideal for a hallway, sink, or even a bedside rug. Can be used as a shower mat. although I don't recommend it, simply because this thinner rug can't absorb excess water.
