Review on Retractable Extends Outdoor Doorways Hallways by Rain Flores

I ordered this for the stairs in my house because my pup keeps climbing up, into the hallway, every time it rains peeing and pooping upstairs, and sometimes for a few days afterwards. I originally intended to install this at the base of the stairs but it didn't work because my railing is over 120 years old and very curvy and I didn't want to screw it in or otherwise damage it. There was a suggestion on how to set it up for something like this, but it didn't seem solid enough to me. Instead I chose to install it at the top of the stairs to keep the dogs out of the hallway. I had to read the instructions multiple times to figure out what I needed to do, not because it was difficult, but because I didn't think I could. Did it on my own with no instructions. I could not. After understanding the instructions, installation took less than 10 minutes. I like that it doesn't obstruct your view and packs easily back into the mount. These gates are very easy to use even when you're tired etc. The only thing I'm not sure about is that they can actually restrain the baby. enough to stop them. They are quite flexible and I think a toddler could probably walk under or through them. I could be wrong and my kids are old so it's been a long time. Anyway, my partner and I are both amazed at how Gates has turned out. since our kids were little. It is unobtrusive and easy to install and use.
