I usually wet shave with a double-edged razor, which is almost as antithetical to shaving as an electric razor. My bluff: It's a good razor. I have recently used two other razor brands that were also high end razors and I think both were better. Why, mainly in the feel of the materials used. This razor uses a plastic that feels cheaper (hard and slippery) while others have used rubber pads for a better grip or other materials that don't look or feel as cheap. Although all three razors have swivel heads, this one rotated the least and also lacked the ability to lock the head. Another area where this was somewhat lacking was that other razors included a nice travel case for the razor and brush - it didn't. The only area where this razor really shined was in noise - it was the quietest running razor ever. I was impressed - it was rally quiet during operation. I shaved well (for an electric shaver) and am happy with it and thanks to the quiet motor.
