I installed this on my trailer by replacing the handle. Some days I leave work early and some days I walk and live 5 minutes from the Niagara River. Still, I enjoy getting on the boat and that's just me. I have a 16ft aluminum center console with a 40hp outboard motor. When I get back to the boat ramp, I slide the trailer in and pull the hook out. I hook it up to my boat and from the dock I can pull the boat in with the remote and steer it in place. No help, no getting wet, no problem. I've seen other people say it has no power. I'm telling you, this gets my boat to the trailer with no problem. If you have a Titanic, this may not be the device for you.
