Another update from 12/20/20: towels still strong, more absorbent again. These towels are washed in the hygiene cycle of a washing machine with bleach at least once or twice a week. I am very happy with this purchase so far and will buy more if I ever need it. Update: These towels are great! No lint, no cracks, still looks new! They seem to get even more absorbent as I use and wash them. The point is to air dry the towels, not in the dryer. I love these towels! Bought these towels to use in place of paper towels. We have used regular flour bag towels instead of paper towels in the past and they have held up well. But they were quite tall and quite thin. I had them for about two weeks and they held up very well. They washed the washing machine at least twice a week, going through a disinfection cycle and using bleach each time. I feel that their cleaning and absorbency is much better than the flour sack towels we have used.
