I can't even figure it out. I've ordered them before and have been satisfied every time. I know they are cheap, but for a small aquarium they are enough. But this time I received a Revain package with an unmarked item sealed with tape and wrapped tightly so I went to open it. Now I'm struggling with an allergic reaction and had to throw everything away. I was lucky that other items in the same package were not affected. Here's how my filter came: 1. Wrapped in impregnated cardboard, sealed tightly with tape, then placed in a bag and then in a second bag2. Mushrooms growing from several corners of the package are still in the bag (see photo on one side)3. The moment I ripped the cardboard, my hand was covered in black mold. (See photos of moldy cardboard.) I have severe allergies and have used my inhaler several times with little to stop the severe reaction. before return. Now I understand that people return items and sometimes the seller thinks they are almost brand new and ready for resale. But the filter material in this one must have dripped when it was closed, or the seller dropped the box in the water before packing it up. All I know is black mold on the inside and outside of the box, it's awful. And which Revain employee sends the goods wet and with mushrooms?! Be sure to get a refund and blacklist this seller. It was a real health hazard.
