I've had all sorts of dog collars and lights. Some are better than others, but not in the same class as this one. Pros: Bright lighting, two "always-on" white light settings. The third parameter is a flashing red light. Hours of operation between charges. Simple on-off. Easy to attach to the collar. via a USB mini-B connector. Unfortunately, this type is installation dependent and incorrect connection can damage the charging port. This would be greatly improved by upgrading to a mini-C port. Disclosure - I have six of these lights for my two cairn terriers. One of the lights is out of order and turns on due to the pup's movements. It is thought that this was facilitated by the aggressive play of puppies, who grab each other's collars during play. It sounds like a wild dogfight, but that's just their nature and they "talk" as if to kill. Rabbits and squirrels are a different story. I don't really like the bright white color so I tinted the white lenses with a translucent color which helps reduce the brightness and allows me to see the pup in the dark from a distance. .In summary, I am very satisfied with the flashlights and find them very valuable and useful to use.
