I didn't know what to expect as this was my first purchase of a silk pillowcase. Given the low price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The pillowcase feels soft and regulates the temperature well during sleep. I think my dog appreciates it, too, and now he's plopping down on my pillow. The seams look well stitched and the zipper opens and closes smoothly. The care instructions say the pillowcase is machine washable, but I haven't tried it. Hand washed only. The only thing that confuses me is that the care instructions (on the printed card) say the soaking time should be less than 3 minutes. Since you can't check that in the washing machine, does that only apply to hand washing? However, I have not encountered any problems after washing my hands (it takes more than 3 minutes for me) of pillowcases.
