Review on Design on Demand by Jordan Weakland

I used Dofd for several projects in which we needed industrial manufacturing parts. The customer service team at dof d was very friendly and helpful when answering technical questions about our products. In one case they were able to modify an STL file without charging us extra - great result considering it took them 2 months to understand what my requirements were! Sometimes things don't come out as expected, but you never hear from them so hard work can only be done once they become aware of problems with production or quality control etc., not always ideal, sometimes better if nothing is heard back however there is plenty written evidence such issues were reported or raised internally by others so this is definitely no way to conduct business/work relations. DoF d helped me create CAD files quickly using easy access templates which reduced development time considerably (I have developed professionally over many years). The ease of use for customers is one thing I like best about this service! It's very simple in concept but can be quite complicated when you're not familiar with CAD software or design processes (which we weren't!). We've been able to produce some pretty cool designs using DOD as opposed to hiring an outside designer who might charge more than what our budget allows us at times.
