It's one piece design is the key factor in how it performs. It does not bend, and you can get a good comfortable grip on the handle. You get great leverage because it won't bend, you don't have to be overly gentle due to fear of it breaking.Not quite 13 inches long ( handle is 5 inches) the bowl is a good size at almost 8 inches long X a little over 3 inches wide.At $12.99 it is a great buy for a great tool!Great gift for a gardener or a gardener to be!I am going to look at their other tools too.Highly recommend!
