worked about 2 minutes. Used it on my Harbor truck compressor to ensure the compressor restarts when tank pressure is loaded. It only happened once! As someone mentioned in the comments, it's an electrolytic capacitor. I'm pretty sure it's an electrolytic capacitor. It exploded in a hissing cloud of smoke. Something you don't want to breathe. The Harbor Freight compressor has a large metallized polypropylene film cover internally sealed to 10,000 AFC. If you have either of these types of capacitors, you MUST use the same type. They cost around $30 or more, but they won't blow your mind in 2 minutes. I gave it 2 stars because it worked as a run capacitor in my compressor. for 2 minutes. The seller did not describe what the capacitor is made of. I put the old capacitor back in. It works to start the engine until the compressor reaches 125psi and shuts off. Compressor will not start at 90 PSI. I have to bleed all the air and run the compressor again from zero PSI for it to start. Better than no compressor at all.
