Cerium Oxide is a product used by professional glass polishers. For this task you need at least a random orbital polisher with 5000-7000 rpm. It still takes patience and determination to get the job done right. I used this product to polish scratches on a glass panel. For deep scratches, you can hold a random orbital polisher in one spot for a few minutes and then move on to the next. Depending on the condition of the glass, the work takes several hours. When the product dries, remove the oxide with a damp sponge, dry and check your progress. In just an hour and a half, I could clearly see the glass gradually returning to a new state. This polish is a very fine abrasive that gradually decreases in size as it is polished. The hard particles in this product won't scratch the glass, so don't worry. Always wear gloves and possibly a face mask to avoid breathing dust or fumes.
