The vibrations increase until the camera shakes

Before I bought this camera mount, I had no idea how much my desk would shake when I was typing. I don't actually press the keys very hard, but the slight vibration seemed to increase as I moved the up arrow. Before I knew it, my viewers thought there was an earthquake. I suppose if it were attached to a table top or two very heavy tables it would remain stable. But on a surface that can experience slight vibrations, the rate of those vibrations amplifies.
