These magnets are as strong as advertised. I hung the wreath on the front door without the magnet slipping off the weight. However, please use it with caution. The first time I pulled them apart they slipped out of my hand and snapped into place, catching my finger in the middle. OMG! It was like slamming your finger on a car door. The blow was so severe that bleeding started immediately and would not stop. When I took the pressure off It pulsates! So for hanging things it's great. If you have any metal plates in your body, I would recommend keeping those monsters away from them to avoid damage.!@#$%
