I haven't been able to buy a pair of golf shoes for a long time. Most of the shoes I tried were too stiff due to the thick waterproof material on the top of the shoe. It would definitely take a few rounds of golf (and sore feet) to break them in. I bought these shoes as they were at a good price and I needed the shoes badly after returning 5 other pairs. They felt comfortable from the first time they put them on. Although they don't appear to be fully waterproof due to the light fabric on the top, I played on a wet track and my feet stayed completely dry. Traction was good too. Towards the end of the course (18 hours went by) I had a few hot spots but overall a very comfortable shoe worth trying. I'm sure they'll break into overtime. I am very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.
