The most important part of a surge protector is the voltage rating. This is how much voltage goes THROUGH your surge protector and hits your devices in the event of a power surge. The APC 3 output device (PE3WU3) has a VPR of 500 volts, which is a shame. (The best consumer surge protectors are rated at 330 volts.) Of course, you won't know that until you buy one and look at the VPR stamped on the back. Manufacturers should be ashamed of these pathetic test results, so they don't publish them anywhere. Let's hope it doesn't catch fire like some other reviewers.
