Not Recommended Best in Power Strips & Surge Protectors

I would not recommend this product. It has three sockets, but you can only use two because they are too close together. There are also two USB ports, but they're located just below one of the power outlets, so the power cord blocks their use (see photo). I am giving the product one star because there is a pretty green light to indicate that the surge protector is on.

Plug it in and forget it

Not that fast for charging electronics but I like the slim profile for the space I use. If you have chargers, you probably only have 2 of the 3 outlets available, plus 2 USB ports (slow charging). So far there are no smells, no burning, no flames, no weapons of mass destruction as some people have described in their reviews, but maybe I'm not trying to do anything unusual with it, or maybe my sockets are fine. , so I don't have to worry if I'm buying a quality product.

A 500 volt VPR protects very little

The most important part of a surge protector is the voltage rating. This is how much voltage goes THROUGH your surge protector and hits your devices in the event of a power surge. The APC 3 output device (PE3WU3) has a VPR of 500 volts, which is a shame. (The best consumer surge protectors are rated at 330 volts.) Of course, you won't know that until you buy one and look at the VPR stamped on the back. Manufacturers should be ashamed of these pathetic test results, so they don't publish them…

Power strips and surge protectors could be better

Two stars lost: (1) USB ports are very difficult to secure with the standard iPhone USB connector: it's too narrow/narrow. It is either a design or manufacturing defect. (2) A "guarded" piece of plastic protrudes from the top of the device: it lights up steadily with a green LED. The correct thing would be to place it at the bottom of the device so that it also acts as a night light and illuminates the floor and not the eyes. Being upstairs is too bright as it illuminates the dark bedroom. The…

Not bad. It is what it is.

Feels like a quality product. Not too tight and not too loose when plugging into 3 pin sockets. The USB charging part was very tight and didn't appear to be properly aligned during production. I was still able to use the ports, but it was difficult to connect USB cables to them at first. I like the center screw to attach the cover to the outlet (our apartment has loose end caps so things can be easily detached). There's nothing worse than buying the ones that don't have it and they keep turning

Definitely meets all my requirements.

I have seen some reviews of this unit and they were not very complimentary. I've had mine for about a year now and I love it. I've attached mine to an outlet with the included screw to keep it in place, but you also have the option of just plugging it in without a screw if you want to move it from room to room from time to time. a little further apart but they are still comfortable. I tested the USB ports with a USB load tester and found that they output about 5.1V to 3.1A, not 3.4A as…
