Casio makes amazing quartz watches at very reasonable prices. This is definitely one of them. Some, like the original GShock, are all digital. They have great features in an easy to read digital format. If you like a more traditional analog look, Casio offers several hybrids including this one. I love the look and feel of this watch. I just got it and I bought it for a workout to use the stopwatch and timer features. Once you've read the instructions (and you NEED them), you'll find it easy to navigate through the features. My only complaint is the additional digital screens (there are 3 of them). They are not easy to read in low light conditions. You can get light for about 1.5 seconds by pressing any of the buttons, but it's difficult without that. This is further complicated by the analog hands covering one or more sub-dials at certain times of the day. I think there's a combination of buttons to get them out of the way, but it all gets pretty complicated. This is the price for a hybrid. You have many choices, but they all come with some kind of compromise. If you really need digital readings like a timer or stopwatch and want to see the numbers quickly and in lower light conditions (e.g. in a living room at night) then this clock might not be the best option. The original GShock would probably have been a much better option. If you really like the analog style and only occasionally need digital capabilities, this might be a good choice.
