High quality, comfortable feeling and great look!

This is a great upgrade for my 2020 Toyota Tundra. It feels soft yet durable, luxurious and sporty. Love it a lot and I'm surprised Toyota doesn't ship their trucks with a factory leather steering wheel. The only issues I have are: 1. The adhesive on the sides of the steering wheel is awful. It peeled off causing sagging/clumping of the leather on the back of the spokes at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. (see photo)2. Installation is very time consuming and a bit tricky if the steering wheel is left in place. (I left mine on. Some videos online show others taking theirs off, but I didn't want to because the airbag deployed.)3. There is no video from the seller of installing the Tundra on the steering wheel. (I think they have a video of a basic 3 spoke Bmw steering wheel) 4. Not enough material to cover the edges of the steering wheel spokes at 3 and 9 o'clock (see photo). I won't exaggerate, the installation took about 5 hours. I broke it in two days to make it. The hardest thing is understanding where to start and what to do next. Once you hit your groove, it moves fast. I can unbutton the side seams and see if I can add contact cement or something to fix the wrinkled leather I mentioned earlier. I'll admit there may be some quality issues with my setup, but the steering wheel parts, which are the actual part of the steering wheel, look great. They are snug and appear to be perfectly aligned at 6 o'clock and along the top arch of the steering wheel. Def recommends this. It was only $35 and it makes driving so much better. I just wish the glue was tackier so I don't have debris on the back of the handlebars. I'll take care of the 3 and 9 o'clock positions and the material shortage. Maybe you just need to glue it with liquid glue.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues
