I bought it because the house I moved into needed a little repair and one of the things was missing. I noticed that when it rained, water got into my garage and there was a gap under the door. Since my drive was slightly tilted, I had to direct the water away from the door. I bought rubber for the bottom of the garage door and also this one in November. We had a few rain showers, but there won't be anything like next spring. So far it's doing what I expected. There is no water or draft under the garage door.
