Review on ASUS ZenScreen MB166C: 15.6" Portable Monitor with Anti Glare Screen, Flicker-Free & Blue Light Filter - Ideal for Productivity and Entertainment by Ken Wiechman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well, with a few minor caveats.

I bought two of these for a very specific use case. I have a Phillips 346B monitor with a built in USB 3.0 hub. I needed a single cable solution to connect my laptop and also needed more monitor space so I installed a cable on each side so it can be laid out for everyday use in my WFH office. Both connect to a hub, and a single USB-C connection to one of my laptops supports both monitors via DisplayLink, as well as the main monitor. I equipped them with rotating quick releases so I can take them off and take them with me when I travel. The only thing that bothers me is that they have a rather low brightness by default. It's a little awkward to turn up the brightness every morning when I turn on the power or switch laptops, so I live with the brightness low most of the time. I wish they would remember the last setting or provide a way to select the default setting you want from the menu. They don't.
