Review on ️ 3/16 Inch ARES 70024 Scissor Disconnect Tool by Rusty Calcara

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Had to modify to remove the fuel filter...

This tool worked...after I shaved off 3/32" of the correct working ends. Otherwise it would be impossible to remove either fuel filter fuel line clamp on a 2002 Mustang GT as the clearance between the curved filter inlet increases close to the rib on the filter line bracket to get into the clamp at a good angle.this tool;the clip was blocked too close to the filter to allow proper instrument entry. On the drain end it worked fine before the change After my modification it worked fine on both ends It worked in the end but was a hassle - good thing I had a belt sander on hand to trim the working end I wouldn't recommend this tool for tight angle clamps - in this case it is it better to get a good set of suitable tools for opening clamps for cars.if if I have to work more with such cars, I get a real deal; This tool only comes in two sizes and you really need the three common sizes. On the other hand, I've also found that I can make my own tool for this in a jiffy from a pipe of the right diameter...always keep this in mind if you need the job done right away and such tools don't arrive. AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
