I would like to preface this by saying that I am a huge fan of Anker products and it pains me that I am getting less than excellent comments on their products. I bought 3 of these and my son bought 2 and all five were at the lake house on the 4th of July. We used the speakers all day for 4 days to test them and I found that. Battery life was excellent. The speakers were used 7-10 hours a day, and at the end of the day, the battery charge was well over half. The sound is very good. They attend parties. It's not stereo sound, but having 5 speakers on the dock and beach allowed us to have a more immersive audio experience rather than one or two speakers, which were extremely loud. If you're considering a large outdoor space, get more than a few speakers. Bluetooth. In about 95% of the cases the connection was normal. But every now and then it would turn off and on again. It wasn't a range issue as the device was close to the speaker it was paired with. Also, the song's playback speeds up inexplicably right after clipping, as if catching up with what it should be. It was really weird and everyone noticed. party cast. I've had two Soundcore Boom speakers for over a year now. These speakers match perfectly every time. These speakers don't have trance go. Every time I turn them off and try to plug them back in, it's a process. I've watched videos many, many times about pairing the speaker to my device and adding more speakers to Party Cast. I follow every step and IT DOESN'T WORK! I literally sit and push the buttons for at least 15 minutes until they all magically connect. This is the most confusing, random and frustrating process imaginable. When they finally all connect it sounds great, just don't turn them off or you'll start over. A little explanation as to what buttons are on the speaker and there is indeed a button in the middle at the top that isn't explained anywhere in the documentation or online. I have no idea what that is for. If you have the patience to put them together and get them working for Party Cast, they sound fantastic and I recommend them. If you need something that you can just plug in and work every time without a fuss, this might not be for you. If anyone has the magic key combo to press to do this, please point me to this guide. I love the sound and performance, but I don't know if I can live with connection issues every time I use them.
