As already mentioned, this block is not suitable if your weapon has a regulator. My simple solution was to cut it off the plate and add a 4" piece of square tubing. Then weld everything back so I can mount it on a cabinet or wall. Note the metal rod that needs to be welded to the center of the stand to hold the filter mount. Hope this helps others. Also my child who is learning to weld welded, so there are no pins on the welds :-)
