They were originally layered. works fine once I unwrap the end next to the welded ball. Based on a video I've seen, twisting two bare wires together is part of the manufacturing process; After spot welding, however, the end must be unwound to prevent a short circuit. The cables were not twisted like in the picture. They were rigidly folded like a fan. I don't have a datasheet for this wire; However, most cables have a minimum bend radius that should not be exceeded for a variety of reasons. And since the fiberglass jacket seems to be loose on the conductors, I'm a bit concerned about conductor migration in a cable with sharp bends. However, I haven't seen any problems. For laypeople, this works without any problems. The price matched this amateur's budget. I would have problems using it in a business application.
