Description of Pack of 5 K Type Thermocouple Temperature Probes with Mini-Connector, Measure Range -50 to 400 Celsius, Compatible with TM902C/ TES1310

You will get: the package comes with 5 pieces k type thermocouple temperature probe sensors in 3 meters long, the enough quantity and length to meet your daily need. Measurement range: the measure range of the temperature sensing line is -58 to 752 °F (-50 to 400 °C); And the probe sensor can effect in 5 second with the accuracy degree 0.025 or 0.075; The interface form is flat plug-in. Wide Applications: for general purpose temperature applications, the k type mini-connector is fastly response that is suitable for rapid measurement of air and gas, not suitable for liquid measurement; Allows forming and bending of the thermocouple, so you don't need to worry about the risk of cracking. Universal compatiblity: the thermocouple wires can compatible with most k type temperature measuring instruments, they can compatible with TM902C and TES1310. Good insulation : the k type probe sensor is made of the fiberglass, which has good insulation, strong heat resistance and strong tensile strength.

Not exactly as pictured

This may be a nitpick but the photo shows the thermocouples wrapped in a circle. When you receive them, they are neatly packaged in a folded "bun" as is common with most electronic cables. Why does it matter? I've been using them for many years. No matter how careful you are unrolling and straightening the wires, they want to get a tight crease right where they were previously folded for packaging. That shortens her life. Given the cheap price and good heat resistance I think they will last a…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Flaws

Annoying insulation

The fiberglass insulation on it is incredibly annoying and dusty. It was enough to take them out of the packaging without gloves to feel the needles pierce my hands. You can see the glass dust sparkle in the air as it is ejected as the wire bends. Installation unsafe without respiratory protection. It's also a bit annoying that they use steel wire instead of copper, which makes them more resistant to higher temperatures, but also doesn't require solder. I'm adding a star because the price is…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Great price for $$$

If you've ever worked with these sensors, you know they're pretty damn fragile. I had one that came with an expensive multimeter out of the box. I bought these to make sure the problem was with the sensor and not the meter itself. Plugged it in and got almost instantaneous readings. The temperature readings were accurate. If I buy this bulk pack now, I'll have a spare in case the other one breaks. Note. The principle of operation of these devices is to use two dissimilar metal wires that are…

  • Great for a small home

Not perfect, but the price is good for the hobbyist's budget

They were originally layered. works fine once I unwrap the end next to the welded ball. Based on a video I've seen, twisting two bare wires together is part of the manufacturing process; After spot welding, however, the end must be unwound to prevent a short circuit. The cables were not twisted like in the picture. They were rigidly folded like a fan. I don't have a datasheet for this wire; However, most cables have a minimum bend radius that should not be exceeded for a variety of reasons. And
