The fiberglass insulation on it is incredibly annoying and dusty. It was enough to take them out of the packaging without gloves to feel the needles pierce my hands. You can see the glass dust sparkle in the air as it is ejected as the wire bends. Installation unsafe without respiratory protection. It's also a little annoying that they use steel wire instead of copper, which I think makes them more heat resistant, but also doesn't require solder. Irritating fiberglass poses a safety hazard and contaminates my experiments.
