Nice set of Christmas decorations. I have tons of glass jewelry - unfortunately they are all stacked on a very high top shelf in my garage where I just can't get to them this year. (I'm recovering from a long illness and I'm still quite frail and unwilling to climb up and down stairs.) I've looked through a selection of jewelry to pick just a few and most of them are shatterproof, which I don't really like. I was blown away by this set and thought they were perfect, although I also thought the price was pretty stunning ($86.99? God! I think it's been a long time since I've bought jewelry). I was surprised when the [adorable] Every Day is Christmas box arrived. I figured the jewelry box would be packaged in a second shipping box and since it didn't, I was sure most of the jewelry would break. But I didn't worry about anything as they were well packaged and nothing broke. There are four sturdy cardboard trays, each containing a lightweight plastic lined box with a compartment to store each decoration individually, with extra space at the bottom. The surface of some decorations touches the bottom of the top box. Of the 76 decorations, 4 plain balls had etchings or scratches on the surface and 1 of the decorated balls had a small spot where part of the design had been erased. They are easy to turn so that the damaged part is not visible and the rest of the jewelry is fine. I think they look great and I'm glad I stumbled across them. I ordered the red, green and gold set and the colors are vibrant and the patterns are fun. The set includes plain glass baubles with a gloss or satin finish and baubles with a gloss finish + several spindle and teardrop baubles, some with a checkered or other design, and three extra large decorations. All jewelry has a collar and a loop for hanging. The current price is $86.99, but I've noticed that other sets are a little cheaper now, making the cost more reasonable. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need another set.
